Abersoch is home to one of the most popular beaches on the Llŷn Peninsula – it’s certainly amongst the liveliest. The main beach is perfect for lounging since it’s in a beautiful, shady location.

Black Rock Sands
Attraction
Even though the name suggests a dark beach, you won’t see much in the way of blackness. Black Rock Sands is an open, wide beach with fine sands.

Inigo Jones Slate Works
Attraction
Inigo Jones Slate Works was founded in 1861 mainly to prefabricate school writing slates. Today the company uses the same raw material namely 500 million year old Welsh slate to produce architectural, memorial, landscape and craft products.
Machroes Beach
Attraction
Machroes is a long, sandy beach located to the south of Abersoch, merging with Abersoch Beach and backed by Abersoch Golf Club. At the southern end of the beach there is a small car park and toilets.

Trefriw Woollen Mills
Attraction
Established in 1859 Trefriw Woollen Mills manufacture traditional Welsh bedspreads, travel rugs and tweeds. Their machinery is over 50 years old and they generate their own electricity.
