We have officially reopened here at the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways and we are delighted to share with you our four new package experiences!

Take a look at our new set of journey experiences for this Spring/Summer:

The Deep Mine tour at Llechwedd tells the story of the men who built this incredible industry which roofed the world.  Experienced from the point of view of the mine workers, the tour uses cutting-edge enhanced reality technology to tell the story

A short narrow-gauge rail ride from Porthmadog takes you to a Heritage Centre and Engine Sheds, packed with exhibits and displays on North Wales’s railway and industrial heritage.

Hats off to whoever thought of this one. Take a vast slate cavern twice the size of St Paul’s Cathedral. Then string giant trampolines and nets across it. Voilà – you have a unique, very topsy-turvy underground experience.

The world’s first underground adventure golf set in a cave is here! Take on the 18-hole course, set 500ft below the ground in a disused cavern, and only accessible by Europe’s steepest cable railway.
