Bennar’s fine, sandy beach is backed by the occasional sand dune. These sand dunes are of Special Scientific Interest, since they are constantly developing and therefore changing their environment.

Betws-y-Coed Golf Club was founded in 1977, and in the succeeding 40 years has developed a fantastic reputation based on the warmth of welcome you will find upon visiting the club.

Even though the name suggests a dark beach, you won’t see much in the way of blackness. Black Rock Sands is an open, wide beach with fine sands.

Borth-y-Gest Beaches are located in the small, picturesque village of Borth-y-Gest near Porthmadog. You can access the beaches from the village car park by following the Wales Coast Path signs westwards passing terraced houses.
