Caerau Gardens

Dolwyddelan Castle
Attraction
A stunning 13th Century fortress, buiilt by Llywelyn Fawr, the Prince of Gwynedd, and ruler of most of Wales, Dolwyddelan Castle stands on a craggy outcrop in the scenic Lledr valley between Betws-y-Coed and Blaenau Ffestiniog.
Dyffryn Ardudwy Burial Chamber
Attraction
Neolithic tomb comprising two chambers of different phases, originally covered by a stone cairn.
Fairbourne Railway
Attraction
It’s the smallest of Wales’s narrow-gauge railways, with a track width of only 12¼ins. So it’s dinky, it’s sweet – but it takes you on a railway ride through the dunes to some pretty big views of the Mawddach Estuary and mountains beyond.
