Caerau Uchaf has the highest private garden open to the public in North Wales at well over 1000 ft. The Gardens were started in 1994 and are being added to all of the time.

Picturesque site of former 'holy well' dedicated to the sixth-century saint, Cybi. Two stone well-chambers and a later cottage survive.

Dinorwic Marina offers all year round cruising in the sheltered Menai Straits, from annual and seasonal berths. Tractor park and launch service available for motorboats and winter storage ashore for all vessels.

It’s the smallest of Wales’s narrow-gauge railways, with a track width of only 12¼ins. So it’s dinky, it’s sweet – but it takes you on a railway ride through the dunes to some pretty big views of the Mawddach Estuary and mountains beyond.

Fairbourne’s beautiful golden sands are backed by a steep bank of pebbles. They fringe a narrow finger of land that extends most of the way across the mouth of the Mawddach Estuary, with stunning views of mountains, woodlands and the sea.
