Picturesque site of former 'holy well' dedicated to the sixth-century saint, Cybi. Two stone well-chambers and a later cottage survive.
Cymer Abbey

Substantial remains of the simple abbey church, founded in 1198 by Maredudd ap Cynan for the Cistercian order.
Penrhyn Castle
Attraction
This enormous 19th-century neo-Norman castle sits between Snowdonia and the Menai Strait. It's crammed with fascinating items, such as a one-ton slate bed made for Queen Victoria, elaborate carvings, plasterwork and mock-Norman furniture.
Pont Minllyn

A narrow bridge crossing the Dyfi at Dinas Mawddwy. Built by Dr John Davies early in the seventeenth century.
Trefriw Woollen Mills
Attraction
Established in 1859 Trefriw Woollen Mills manufacture traditional Welsh bedspreads, travel rugs and tweeds. Their machinery is over 50 years old and they generate their own electricity.
