Fairbourne Railway
Attraction
It’s the smallest of Wales’s narrow-gauge railways, with a track width of only 12¼ins. So it’s dinky, it’s sweet – but it takes you on a railway ride through the dunes to some pretty big views of the Mawddach Estuary and mountains beyond.
Glasfryn Parc
Activity, Attraction
Where to begin? Think of an activity and there’s a good chance that you can do it here. Go karts, quad bikes, archery, fishing and ten-pin bowling are just some of the things on offer.
Penmaenmawr Museum
Attraction
Visiting Penmaenmawr Museum is a journey through time – a journey that takes you thousands of years into the past and leads you to the town you see today.
Old Post Office, Conwy Old Road, Penmaenmawr, Conwy, LL34 6UU
Portmeirion
Attraction
Portmeirion was created by the architect Clough Williams-Ellis from 1925 to 1976. He wanted to show how a naturally beautiful site could be developed without spoiling it.
