Y Crochan Café
Y Crochan Café serves a delicious menu of Welsh inspired food and drink. It's at the centre of 9 craft studios and a range of tourist attractions which start from the Corris Craft Centre. There's free WiFi too. The all day menu served at Y Crochan café features fabulous ingredients which have been grown, reared and produced in Wales. Their menu is inspired by the surroundings and the availability of fresh seasonal produce. They serve delicious Welsh Rarebits with a unique selection of toppings including Welsh Mustard, crunchy Leeks and Garlic Mushrooms. Each Welsh Rarebit is created from their own recipe with a special secret ingredient. They serve a range of popular breakfasts which are available all day, and the cake counter is full of mouth watering hand made cakes including their very own scones and award winning Bara Brith. Enjoy these with a freshly ground coffee or a pot of tea. Next to the café, connected by an archway is Bwtri y Crochan (translating to the Y Crochan Larder), the café uses it and you can too. You'll find shelves of Welsh produce, much of it produced locally by small artisan producers. Items include chutneys, jams, preserves, honey, biscuits, cheese, cakes, sea salt, laverbread, tea, coffee, Welsh beers, ciders, wine, whiskey, vodka and more.
