Castell y Bere

Distinctive remains of a native Welsh castle, probably begun by Prince Llywelyn ab Iorwerth ('the Great') around 1221. Castell y Bere was a remote outpost on Llywelyn’s southern frontier, but it was vital to his security.
Plas Brondanw Gardens
Attraction
Plas Brondanw was given to Sir Clough Williams-Ellis by his father in 1902. The gardens at Plas Brondanw are the finest example of Sir Clough’s talent for creative landscape design.
Portmeirion
Attraction
Portmeirion was created by the architect Clough Williams-Ellis from 1925 to 1976. He wanted to show how a naturally beautiful site could be developed without spoiling it.
Tyddyn Mawr
Activity
Tyddyn Mawr is an undulating 9 hole parkland golf course boasting scenic views of the Snowdon mountain range, Anglesey and the Llŷn Peninsula. It also features a lake which will challenge the best players!
