Even though the name suggests a dark beach, you won’t see much in the way of blackness. Black Rock Sands is an open, wide beach with fine sands.

The Children’s farm park is situated on the beautiful Cardigan Bay coastline in the heart of the Snowdonia national Park with breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Come and see all your favourite animals on the farm!

Overlooking Harlech’s huge, peaceful beach is a symbol of past conflict – mighty Harlech Castle, a World Heritage Site. There’s good access to the beach from a 440 yard/400m path from the car park close to the railway line crossing.

Llandanwg, between Barmouth and Harlech, is famous for its church which stands just a stone’s throw from the sea. The beach is sheltered from strong winds, making it a perfect place for relaxation.
