Even though the name suggests a dark beach, you won’t see much in the way of blackness. Black Rock Sands is an open, wide beach with fine sands.

It is a landmark site, a true testament to the varying fortunes of war. What a picture, what a view! Perched on a headland with the sea as its constant bedfellow. Its twin-towered gatehouse intimidates prospective attackers.

Criccieth’s two beautiful beaches are separated by its prominent – and still powerful – medieval castle, perched on a small headland.

The Dwyfor Ranch Rabbit farm and Animal Park is situated in the beautiful village of Llanystumdwy between the busy towns of Porthmadog and Pwllheli.on the Lleyn Peninsula, North Wales.

Formal terraces, a water garden and pond are located in the higher parts of these gardens, together with sloping lawns, ornamental shrubs and coniferous trees, some of which were planted in Victorian times.
