Two separate railways, little in gauge, large in appeal. The 13½-mile Ffestiniog Railway from Porthmadog to Blaenau Ffestiniog one of Wales's best-loved Great Little Trains, was originally built to carry slate.
Where to begin? Think of an activity and there’s a good chance that you can do it here. Go karts, quad bikes, archery, fishing and ten-pin bowling are just some of the things on offer.
A forest of family fun and great outdoor adventure awaits at the award-winning GreenWood Family Park; a gigantic playground nestled beneath the trees of Snowdonia’s National Park full of amusement, magic and mischief.

Portmeirion was created by the architect Clough Williams-Ellis from 1925 to 1976. He wanted to show how a naturally beautiful site could be developed without spoiling it.
