Abersoch is home to one of the most popular beaches on the Llŷn Peninsula – it’s certainly amongst the liveliest. The main beach is perfect for lounging since it’s in a beautiful, shady location.

The Llŷn Maritime Museum holds a unique collection of around 400 artefacts associated with the maritime heritage and history of Nefyn and the Llŷn Peninsula.

Machroes is a long, sandy beach located to the south of Abersoch, merging with Abersoch Beach and backed by Abersoch Golf Club. At the southern end of the beach there is a small car park and toilets.

NOTICE

Following a landslide at the beach in Nefyn on 19 April arrangements have been made for an initial investigation of the cliff to be carried out.
