Abersoch is home to one of the most popular beaches on the Llŷn Peninsula – it’s certainly amongst the liveliest. The main beach is perfect for lounging since it’s in a beautiful, shady location.

The golf course at Abersoch is gaining a very positive reputation for the challenge it provides, the views that are seen from the course, and the welcome in the clubhouse.

Llanfairfechan is a charming Victorian seaside town in a dramatic setting – its long, wide and sandy beach shelters beneath the 1,423ft/434m Penmaenmawr Mountain.

Machroes is a long, sandy beach located to the south of Abersoch, merging with Abersoch Beach and backed by Abersoch Golf Club. At the southern end of the beach there is a small car park and toilets.

Following a landslide at the beach in Nefyn on 19 April arrangements have been made for an initial investigation of the cliff to be carried out.
