National Slate Museum will shut its doors - temporarily - from 4 November 2024 to undertake an exciting redevelopment project!

The project will breathe new life into our much-loved Museum and safeguard our spectacular historic buildings and globally important collections so that future generations can experience and enjoy the incredible story of slate.
