The estuaries and coastline, the mountains and hills, ancient woodlands and river valleys of Snowdonia Mountains and Coast all contribute to the rich diversity of habitats which ensures the area's long standing reputation as a bird watcher's paradise.
Reserves offer breath-taking scenery and beautiful woodland walks whilst the Conwy estuary Reserve offers views of various wading birds and the magnificent Conwy Castle. Well located hides ensure an excellent view. Bywyd Gwyllt Glaslyn Wildlife (BGGW) was set up in 2013 as a community interest company to continue the work of protecting breeding ospreys in the Glaslyn Valley.
