Character

Criccieth has lots of Victorian character – and lots of flowers. There’s a good choice of places to stay, many with splendid views across Cardigan Bay.

Heritage Walks

Local Heritage Walks take in some of Criccieth’s most famous landmarks, including the lifeboat station, old village mill, congregational chapel and memorial hall.

Activities

Other activities in and around Criccieth include swimming, hill and mountain walking, bowling, golf and mini-golf, tennis, squash and fishing (excellent coarse fishing nearby at Bron Eifion’s six-acre lake).

Cadwaladrs

Treat yourself to some very special ice cream in very special surroundings. Cadwaladers have been purveyors of high-quality ice cream, made to a secret recipe, since 1927.  Sample it in their extended and refurbished ice cream parlour
