Watersport Centre
Abersoch is also a thriving sailing and watersports centre, focused around its sheltered harbour.
A full programme of events includes the Abersoch Regatta and Wakestock, Europe’s largest wakeboard music festival. The resort is also home to a well-established Jazz Festival, held each June.
Lively
As you’d expect of such a lively place, there are many shops, cafés, and bars. Even in the winter months Abersoch is a busy little village with a cosmopolitan air and active cultural life.
Activities
Abersoch offers a wide choice of accommodation, attractions and activities including pony trekking, surfing, boat trips, jet-skiing, golf, an activity park and hovercraft centre. Walking is also popular – it’s the base for six circular walks ranging from under a mile to over nine miles (contact Abersoch Tourist Office for details).
