Family Day Out 1:

Greenwood Forest Park is one of Snowdonia, Mountains and Coast’s most popular attractions, situated in the middle of an enchanting woodland near Felinheli.  Throughout the year Greenwood Forest Park offers many activities ranging from Archery to the ‘Green Dragon Roller Coaster’, and it’s not just for kids, but for big kids too!  How about taking a stroll across one of the many trails, the newest being the ‘Bare Foot Trail’ which will encourage you to experience things in a whole different way.  Every summer Greenwood Forest Park includes some additional entertainment for your amusement.  These events vary from Magicians, Pirate Shows, Kiddies Challenge to carving your own flowers, not only are these events fun but they also make the Greenwood Forest Park experience unique

Family Day Out 2:

Another popular family attraction in the Bangor area is The Fun Factory, Caernarfon. The 14,000square feet Fun Factory opens daily at 10am and offers a wide range of attractions,  from the 25foot drop slide to an interactive heritage museum. The factory, which is an adapted Church, is an award winning attraction, which will come as no surprise once you have visited and experienced the ball pools, rope bridges, mini go-karts, laser ‘Space Sports’ arena and much, much more. It’s possible to hire the venue for private parties – children and adults!

Activity Day Out 1:

Why not head out and catch some waves at Hells’ Mouth or Whistling Sands. Both beaches are well known for their clean breaking waves and excellent access. You can buy or hire surf / body boards at West Coast Surf Shop, Abersoch. The shop has a full selection of boards and suits for all seasons and for beginners to advanced surfers. In the village you will come across more shop that provide water sports equipment. There are also surfing lessons available through West Coast Surf School. Lessons are generally held at Hells Mouth from May until November. Tuition is available for all levels and they'll contact you 2 to 3 days before the lesson to confirm, as surf conditions can vary. Adventure Camp is great idea for a weekend away from it all with family or with friends. Not only will you get back into the great outdoors but you will also learn new skills, try new challenges and push yourself to a new limit. You will have the opportunity to choose the level of activity for your weekend, from a walking weekend to a multi activity weekend. Choose from the following activities: Raft building, orienteering, sailing, climbing, body boarding, kayaking/ canoeing, gorge walking, abseiling, mountain biking, pioneering and many more.
