There are excellent opportunities for riding, hacking and trekking throughout the region.

Leisurely treks cater for those who wish to relax and soak up the scenery whilst, exhilarating hacks are available for the more experienced rider who wants to enjoy the thrill of a gallop. The magical combination of rivers, valleys, mountains, lakes and woodlands ensures complete relaxation.

There are vast opportunities for horse riders in Snowdonia Mountains and Coast, with our numerous riding stables and centres offering something for everyone’s ability and taste. At Waunfawr near Caernarfon miles of bridleways provide super riding and magnificent views of both mountain and sea. Glorious sea views are also provided by Cilan Riding Centre in Abersoch and at Tŷ Coch Farm, Penmachno, which is situated in a lovely secluded valley.
